when Mirabel was 4 years old one of the rare travelers to the Encanto cursed her, forever altered her, changed her into a werejaguar. a year later when she turned 5 the miracle granted her with the perfect gift, the ability to control when the beast within her was the most active.

Summary
Mirabel decides to make Bruno a weighted blanket. But the idea doesn't come out of the blue, it builds over time.
~Carefully, Mirabel and Camilo drape the blanket over Bruno’s shoulders.
The weight does get his attention. “Wha—“ The exclamation cuts off as the weight settles fully around him. “Oh. Oh.”
They move back as he examines the blanket. Dolores watches with a faint smile.
“I…this…you made…” He’s at a loss. Bruno pulls on the edges of the blanket, examining the sewn-together squares. He rubs at the fabric, feeling the sand inside. “Mi mariposa? You made this?”
Mirabel joins him on the floor, folding her legs and fanning out her skirt. “I noticed you seemed to relax with pressure. But we can’t have Parce jumping out at you all the time. After seeing Antonio with you in your room I thought sand would work well.”

Summary
Mirabel Madrigal has had hanahaki disease since she was 10 years old and no one noticed. She's entering the final stages of the disease now as Antonio's ceremony approaches, and now she has to save the miracle on top of it.
Starts briefly pre-canon and planned to go post canon.
If anything is wrong in this story pls tell me I speak very little American Spanish let alone any variant of Colombian Spanish.
