What if Ned Stark arrived at King's Landing just a few hours earlier and got to Elia before the Mountain raped and killed her?
What if the Martells knew of Jon’s true heritage and kept it secret?
What if Ned Stark faked the deaths of Arthur Dayne, Gerold Hightower & Oswell Whent?
That’s right, I’m here to crack crackery once again.
How do you heal a tethered bond and build upon it?
In some places, broken pottery is put back together with gold to show that even that which is broken can be bonded into a stronger, more beautiful piece of art.
After the war for the dawn, Jon picks up the broken pieces of Arya’s life and fills them with all the things that made her long for him above everyone else from the day she left for King’s Landing to now.

In Braavos, under the tutelage of The Faceless Men, Arya hears of the death of the Black Bastard on the Wall. Held back from following her desire to avenge Jon, Arya continues to be mentored by the Kindly Man in all manner of matters.
At Castle Black, Lord Commander, Jon Snow breaks his vows to the Night’s Watch to ride south to rescue Arya from the grasp of Ramsay Bolton. Finding Arya was never there, Jon inherits a crown, is pulled into leading the War for the Dawn, bends the knee to and then rules the North on behalf of Queen Daenerys Targaryen.
And beyond the wall, Bran is undergoing training of his own at the feet of Bloodraven. There he will enter the fight against the Others, watch over his family and learn from the best schemer in the game, how to make himself Brandon the Rebuilder.
Amidst reunions, grief, politics, intrigue and love, a time for wolves is about to begin.

Arya named her wolf after the warrior queen of the Rhoyne, who led her people across the narrow sea.
At night, she was the Night Wolf. She was swift and strong, running down her prey with her pack at her heels. She preferred that to the dream where she was always looking for her mother, stumbling through a wasted land of mud and blood and fire...always weeping, like a frightened little girl.
Her father once told her, “When the snows fall and the white winds blow, the lone wolf dies, but the pack survives.” She had no pack, though. They had killed her pack and when she tried to make a new one, back in Westeros, all of them ran off. Maybe she would try to make a new pack somewhere new, just like Queen Nymeria. Just like the Night Wolf.

Three years has passed since all the Starks went their separate ways. Spring has arrived in Westeros and so has Arya Stark from a long journey across the Sunset Sea. Beyond the Wall, Jon Snow has chosen to disappear for ever, a ranger of the Night's Watch living deep in the wilderness with the Free Folk.
Different roads sometimes lead to the same castle, Jon told Arya long ago. This time around, it leads them back to a castle all their own.
But this semblance of fragile peace and warm sanctuary in their own little cabin in the mountains of the True North is soon threatened as summons from the South come, forcing them to answer the call. Three years after the Wars of Ice and Fire, all the players are back in the game as Jon and Arya will be forced to deal with court and intrigue, first with another Northern plot, then next with the reconvening of the Southern council.
Notes: This tries to resolve the TV Series ending but remains truer to the canon of GRRM's ASOIAF.
