“No, I—I. Um.” Quiet. A steadying breath. “Now you’re just teasing me,” Kara murmurs, a dusting of red high on her cheeks. Lena’s delighted.
“First, you come into my home unexpectedly,” Lena says, and Kara whispers-justifies a quiet yeah, to cuddle, “and now you lick my neck. What’s next?”

She’s always found solace in her car during a drive. The longer the better. It was the perfect space to think, or to just zone out depending on the needs of the day. It represented an escape. A free ticket to freedom. Just her and the car, able to travel anywhere at any time. Nothing to hold her back aside from an empty tank.
