Summary
Fjerda was often bathed in darkness, especially during its worst storms. The Darkling, having travelled to a Second Army encampment on the border of Fjerda, was glad that the sun had decided to show itself. He would need it, as his reason for being there was the sudden disappearance of the drüskelle and Fjerdan soldiers. No bodies, no sign of struggle, they were simply gone. He, along with his Grisha, searched the lands close to the border, attempting to understand why there seemed to be a sudden halt of Fjerdans.
