Summary

As his vision starts to go black, he realizes that his past self was a filthy liar.
A single thought takes over Izuku’s mind; "I wish I had taken a different way home." He closes his hand tight around that wish, hanging on for dear life, and the whole world crumbles under his fingertips.
He hopes the next world will be a little kinder.

Summary
Midoriya Izuku: to most he's a friendless, quirkless, deku who hasn’t left his house since he dropped out of middle school. Few people look past their prejudice to see the genius beneath, but everything changes when Izuku’s brought to Sensei and promised to be the next successor of All for One. However, there's a catch; his quirk factor-- or lack thereof--restricts him from receiving quirks unless he knows exactly how the quirk works and how it’ll clash with the other quirks in his body.
In a turn of events, Izuku is given the chance to reenter the school system at UA as a Teacher’s Assistant, all while spying on the 1-A kids in preparation to steal their quirks. The more he gets to know the students the less he wants to complete Sensei’s mission, but there’s no backing out now-- especially when he realizes that there’s more to his assignment than first appears.
