(Revised Description) Kai Bartley, honest and self-assured, promises to never lie, even if it hurts. Amelia Shepherd, never having been faced with a love so honest, with Link consistently discrediting her progress from the sidelines, finds herself torn in multiple directions and making decisions which, she believes, are right and best for Kai and herself, even if it disrupts their lives. Will they be able to make it work despite outside opinions that threaten to end it?

Maybe if she didn’t get pregnant, maybe if the pandemic didn’t happen when it did, they would still be together, still will be happy and in love. He is the best guy she had come across in a long time and she has no doubt that she loves him, she loves him so much that it kills her a little bit to not want the same things he does.
Kai, on the other hand, doesn’t know anything about her, doesn’t know all the incredible ways she has managed to fuck good people up. To them, she is a hot person around their age and a part of Amelia wants to end things before they even begin, wants to warn them that she is tainted, that she destroys everything she touches and they shouldn’t get themselves caught in the crossfire."
