Summary
(Alternatively the high school/coffee shop AU no one asked for.)
On the beach below the King's Road is a willow tree. They say the tree is older than time itself, the only weeping willow to be found in the area. Jojen and Meera Reed played there as children. It was the first tree Bran Stark climbed when he was four years old. Renly Baratheon told Loras Tyrell he loved him for the first time in the safety of its shadow. Sansa Stark had her first kiss under the willow, and it's where Rhaegar and Lyanna said their wedding vows.
It's where Jojen recovered from his first seizure. It was the first place Bran went after being released from the hospital.
Laughter, and tears. Joy, and fear. Hope, and desperation. What else could be found beneath the willow tree?
