Summary
Nancy takes the opportunity to properly stare. Robin’s nose is pointed; her lips naturally part a little, leaving her front two teeth half-visible; her eyelashes are like spider legs, splayed top and bottom, painted a deep black. She’s got the kind of face you remember for the rest of your life. Nancy’s gaze catches on the wide gap between Robin’s brows. My lips would fit there perfectly, she thinks.
Nancy has never run from what she’s wanted and she’s not about to start now.

Summary
With Robin leaning forward, they find themselves in the same height and it is impossible to keep their eyes from meeting in a gentle side-glance. The anxiety in blue eyes writes obvious and it needs to be soothed and so, Nancy pauses for a minute, offers a small, titled smile. It works and the anxiety seems to melt away for a moment, replaced by so much warmth that Nancy doesn’t know what to do with it.
She clears her throat. “Why are you looking at me like that?”
You’re stupidly pretty and please, don’t die on me and I’m about to use a damned gun for you; the answers kind of crash together in Robin’s head.
or
Nancy is teaching Robin how to shoot a shotgun in case music doesn't protect her from Vecna, as the Party cannot be left without a sharpshooter. They are both in for a couple of discoveries.

Robin reaches for her. She slides a tentative hand towards her, palm up, knuckles skimming over Nancy’s thigh, the tips of her fingers twitching ever so slightly.
Nancy stares. And stares.
She wants to tell Robin, don’t offer your hand to me. If I hold it now, I might never let go.
She wants to tell herself, religion has taught you to be merciful. So be that. Let her go. Don’t take her hand when you might rip it clean off.
