Summary
An alternative ending to the manga (or the new anime series).
This story takes place right after the match between the Funbari Onsen Team and the Team The Ren. I wrote it before reading the first ending and years before reading the definitive ending.
Let’s say it’s my tribute to brotherly love (which means it contains tons of drama and even more bromance, because, after 14 years, I – still, and within certain boundaries LOL – ship those two as if my life depends on it)!

Thunder rumbles. The ground shakes.
Forcing his frozen body to move, Shouta scans his kids to see what the fuck is going on this time. His eyes snag on the problem child glowing like a comet and the only thing that runs through his brain is a somewhat resigned, “Of course.”
