    After meeting the Umbrella Academy back in 1963 Reginald Hargreeves decides he can’t make them his ideal superhero team – but nor can he let them put it, or the world, at risk. So he takes them in and hides them away, just for safety’s sake, and if they prove to be useful tools in other ways, all the better.

    They grow up as the ‘Other Ones’, locked up in the mansion to deal with Hargreeves’s machinations and plans. But he underestimates them and all the things they’re capable of, and most of all he underestimates that they’re never going to give up on each other, no matter what.
