In an ideal world, the sakura snatched from the future has reached maturity- is confident, successful, and has a clear path lined out before her, and is dragged to a past she looks on with fondness and a knowledge of how to fix. This is not that world. Instead, Sakura is plucked from her lowest point- right in the middle of a failed attempt at suicide-by-mission, Sasuke’s hand on her throat, no plans at all, and dropped with all her guilt and shame still intact right back at what she views her weakest.
Somehow, things go a little better for the world the second time around regardless.
