I’ve lived there, Yang thinks of telling her, please let me leave. But Blake is silent and doesn’t move.

Equal parts heart wrenching and heart warming. A modern twist on the events at Beacon where Yang loses an arm and Blake leaves. They are head over heels for eachother but too broken and hurt to get back together. Aaaaahhahaahahahh the aaangst I cry now byebye (but also tears of joy cuz wow it beautiful)

Beehaw fic set in old yeehaw times. Lots of fluff and doesn't take too long to get to the pining. Fantastic story, amazing build up and satisfying payoff.

Summary
AU: Blake Belladonna was bad luck. At least, this was Adam’s excuse when their crops began to fail. She was a curse, he liked to say. She began to dread each moment spent alone with him, and how quickly his eyes would flash with anger. Blake wasn’t a superstitious woman, but after a while, it was hard not to feel like she was cursed. Maybe he had a point.
But curses weren’t the only superstition in their village. One night, Blake heard a sweet song echoing through the valley. Blake had never heard of a banshee before, but she couldn’t believe that such a beautiful song could be an omen of death. There had to be more to it than that. So it was refreshing, to meet someone who agreed with her.
“You know,” Yang remarked, tilting her head thoughtfully. “You almost make me want to sing.”

Summary
AU: Banshees sing for change. That's what Blake likes to say, anyway. Still, Raven is too haunted by her own past to believe those words. As a banshee, death is all she knows, and for over a decade, it's been the only reason she ever sings. That's why, when she sings on the night Yang gives birth, Raven only feels fear.
But sometimes, fear is misplaced. Maybe Blake had it right all along.

I’m sure you can power through these four weeks.” She gets up and leans on the back of her chair, getting closer to Adora’s face. “Just don’t fuck it up and we’ll be fine.”
Adora scowls at her and forces herself to not start another argument. Catra ignores it and turns away.
“See ya later, girlfriend.” She says over her shoulder.
Girlfriend. Adora shudders at that word.
Only after Catra is gone Adora remembers they didn’t even plan anything out. She closes her eyes and rubs her temples again, taking another deep breath. Four weeks of pretending to be Catra’s girlfriend. Those are about to be the longest weeks of her life.
