Summary
Date: I don’t know. The last entry was in 1967 so maybe 1998??? it’s some autumn month by the colorful leaves outside
It has been quite a while since I’ve decided to journal my thoughts. Nothing has really happened so I just didn’t write. It’s as simple as that. But now something has happened.
The last residents of my home seem to have either moved or have died like me. It’s quite sad actually. They didn’t exactly live at my home, but they did come over to update my home once it wasn’t up to today’s standards. (Whenever ‘today’ is.) Except they were able to keep a lot of the older decorations—which was very nice to see—but back to what I was saying.
There was a sign that read ‘FOR SALE’ at the front of my home. It’s taken down now, and I’ve learned why. New people are moving in. Four to be exact (I think). I've seen all of them once, and they all have interesting and diverse styles that I'm not used to.
It’s nice that something interesting is happening. Not having anything happening can be boring even if my pets are here to keep me busy. It will be back to being boring after I scare them off, though.

One month and twenty-six days. That was how long it had been since Ena had started acting increasingly… how should she put it? Strange.
She did not know whether or not her assessment could be considered accurate, because her friendship with Ena was strained at best, but what was undeniable was that Mafuyu felt something close to ignored.
Ena danced and weaved around conversations with her, short replies rolling off her tongue as she instead turned her attention to whatever Mizuki was pointing to on their phone. Her once frequent scolding had seemingly lulled, and while Ena was still polite (or, as polite as she could be, at least), Mafuyu could not shake the feeling that something was wrong.
or, Ena (accidentally) confesses. Mafuyu refuses to let her live it down.

To become a royal knight, Kohane is assigned to get rid of the dragon living up in the mountains. The only problem is that nobody warned her this dragon, who's more of a human than anything else, would be so strange, so unpredictable, and so unbelievably pretty.Peeking in from outside the room is a girl. A girl with long blue hair that dips past her shoulders. A girl with glimmering, gold eyes, as if they’re where every afternoon star gathers to escape the burning heat.
A girl who’s unfairly pretty, and unfairly charming when she smiles at Kohane, and unfairly bright in every sense of the word.
But following her is a curled tail, and as Kohane pays more attention, she sees a pair of glinting horns protrude from the top of the girl’s head. Her tail holds the door open, digging into the doorknob with its sharp end. And barely visible from behind her clothes are the edges of wings. This girl is a dragon, living up on the mountain, separated from the forests far below her cavern.
This is the dragon Kohane was sent to kill.
