Summary

Cat swears under her breath.
She shouldn’t have picked up the phone without looking at the caller ID. She had enough on her plate at the moment, without adding Lois Lane to the mix.
“Don’t you have a wedding to plan or something?” Cat cooly states, tucking the phone between her ear and chin to be able to sign some papers as she speaks. “Or are you so bored you felt the need to call me?”
“Neither,” Lois replies, sounding a little too chirpy for Cat’s liking. “I mean the wedding is at least a year away, I have time, and I’m not bored. I just had to check for myself, because when Alex Danvers told me she’d had some of your wine at a CatCo event, I almost spilled my coffee all over her.”
