Summary
Geralt is hexed with a curse that takes his memories. One day, he runs into someone that he suspects is very important to him.
This is hurt/comfort with a happy ending.

He took a deep breath. This man obviously knew him. Frankly, that surprised Geralt. He was so handsome. He wore the finest clothing. There was a lute hung over his shoulder. Geralt tried to think of a reason that someone so refined or fashionable would be friends with a witcher.
But only people you care about can deal the kind of wound that puts that sort of expression on a face. So they were something to each other.
As the man walked through the crowd, people slapped his shoulder and asked for a song.
He was famous too, on top of everything else. And he made his way towards Geralt. The witcher watched him approach and steeled himself for disappointment.
Ever since his memory loss, he’d had to deal with people approaching him and expecting him to know them back.
It always ended poorly.

Summary
Set in Modern AU, but one where everyone still has their powers. The wolf witchers operate a run down diner as a front to their covert hunting operations. They don't actually want anyone to go there.
But a wealthy young socialite named Jaskier has fallen in love with the place. There's no other place in the city that slathers his waffles with so much whipped cream, and piles it with so many cherries.
He drags his friends Yen and Renfri there once again after a long night of clubbing. He's a little tipsy and decides to thank the chef. The chef is Eskel.

But oh, bless the merciful gods and their sacred semen, what a torso.The cook was muscular and broad and dressed in white v-neck that unselfishly displayed the dip between his pecs. Jaskier’s friends complained about the garish lighting in this place, but with this absolute specimen of a man standing under it in a thin white shirt, Jaskier could make out a lovely thicket of black chest hair.
He would never let them speak ill of this lighting again. Never.

This is a story about Geralt trying to court Jaskier, and the poor bard missing it completely. A little bit of moronsexuals and lot of vulnerability and sweetness.

He thought of Geralt giving him sprigs, leaves, and petals. Sneaking them into his bag while he half napped under the dappled shade of a tree. Presenting them softly, face unreadable, over breakfast on a crisp wintry morning. Pressing them into his palm after a hunt, sludge and blood smearing from Geralt’s hand to his own, the tips of his fingers flecked with their remnants
Jaskier had never asked Geralt why he gave him wayward plant material. It was so rare for Geralt to reach out to him at all. As a result, Jaskier had cultivated a hard, gritty little ball of desperation in his gut. He was like an exceptionally neurotic peach.

Summary
Jaskier works in the Kaer Morhen stables and pines for Eskel. There is a masquerade approaching where Eskel will choose a spouse. Jaskier knows he cannot attend as a guest and would never be accepted as an appropriate match for the witcher. But then he is faced with an unexpected opportunity. One lovely night. One dance. That’s not too much to ask, right?

Eskel pushed open the door of the stable and at the sight of his dark hair and scarred face, the stableboy felt as though someone had released a thousand butterflies into his gut. A stupid, involuntary grin spread on his face.You see, the stableboy loved Eskel. As far as he was concerned, Eskel was more beautiful than anything else in Kaer Morhen. He was more lovely than the groves of pines surrounding the keep. He was more breathtaking than the view from the eastern balcony at sunset.
He was patient. Kind. Funny. Easy going. When Eskel was around, life felt softer. Safer. Or maybe Jaskier was just better able to bear its hard edges in Eskel’s calming, competent presence.

Summary
I read the first two Witcher books, and Geralt is a sensitive boi about the whole mutant thing. Multiple times he mutters to himself about how THoSe PeoPLE don't think he has FeElings.
So I just really think he'd be charmed as hell by Netflix Jaskier. It would be big 'I've had him for a day and a half and if anything happened to him I'd kill everyone in this tavern and then myself' energy.
So I imagined what would happen if Book Geralt met Netflix Jaskier that day at that tavern in Posada. (Spoiler he loves him.)
