A respite before the final battle.
“She was right there. Right there in front of me.”
“Who? The killer?” Niko responded, shocked. “Did you see the actual killer?”
“No!” Eve exclaimed. She would consider later that perhaps it would have been better to lie. “I saw— well.”
Eve had the presence of mind to cut herself off there, but her hand still moved to the Words that had haunted their relationship for years. The motion did not go unnoticed by Niko, and he somehow managed to look even more surprised than before.
“You met your soulmate?”
Eve and Villanelle are soulmates, and I am Soft.
After breaking up with Jared, Megan just wants to fade into the background, but surprisingly enough, the background already has its own set of characters.
Basically, Graham is an angsty teen, and Megan is a now-infamous cheerleader. Can they make it work? (Well, duh.)
“Why don’t you ever try to call me Oksana?”

Sterling found herself drawn to the anonymity of the letter writing. No one made her sign her own name, so she didn’t. Just like that. She wasn’t Blair’s sister or Luke’s girlfriend or the girl with the second highest grades in the fifth grade, she was just a person writing a letter. She signed it TS on a whim, because, well, she was still deeply in a Taylor Swift phase and ever since April had just - well, she just didn’t have anyone to talk to about it anymore. So she wrote letters to some random girl miles away, bent over a big wooden table with a curated variety of gel pens. It was fun, freeing, and something that was solely hers.
And then, even better, she got them back.
Or, there's no way in hell that the two girls with the years long anonymous friendship who wrote letters to each other at camp and now frequently email could be the same two girls who are sworn enemies at school, right?
Created with awe and reverence for You've Got Mail (1998).

Villanelle loves her job. Unfortunately, as is the case for all good things, this too must end. So, when scaring children starts to lose its charm she is forced to seek passion elsewhere.

eve reads with robots and isn’t very nice. these are both very attractive qualities in a woman. it’s a shame villanelle has to kill her and a bigger shame she can’t.
elena felton makes just above £50,000 in any given year with minor, unremarkable fluctuations depending on the hilarious nothing-titles she’s given and shuffled between - and that’s enough to go for drinks on weekends, but it’s not enough to ask the what or the why or the how when eve polastri-park-something shows up at MI6 after years and so does the other one.
they can't be together. but they're certainly not apart, are they?
“Damn it,” Alex grumbles, kicking at an empty chair until it skids across the floor. “Come on, guys. There has to be someone who can go undercover. Any woman under 30 at this bureau who can put on some makeup and twirl in a circle.”
And then all eyes, inexplicably, go to Kara.
“Who?” Kara asks, looking back and forth between Alex and Vasquez and surreptitiously brushing the Cheeto dust from her pants. “Who is it, guys?”
But Alex and Vasquez just keep staring at her silently, matching grins on their faces, and after a few seconds the horrible truth dawns on her. Kara blinks, looking down at herself and then back up at them.
To help her sister foil an attack on the Miss United States pageant, Kara needs to go undercover. There’s only one problem – she’s never been ladylike a day in her life. What starts as a reluctant favour leads Kara to real friendship, growth, and Lena Luthor, all under the watchful eye of the pageant spotlight.
