    The bedroom door is closed and he reaches it in a few long strides, telling himself that he doesn’t care what he finds behind it. Hawks is in for it regardless.

    “Birdie, what the fuck—”

    He’s half-expecting to find the idiot bleeding out and half-expecting to discover he slept through an alarm. What he’s not expecting is for the door to swing open to reveal a little boy sitting in the middle of Hawks’ bed, his knees pulled into his chest and his arms around them. It takes him a moment to process what he’s seeing, but as he takes in the red wings and wild blond hair, it registers that this is definitely Hawks. He repeats “what the fuck” under his breath.

    Hawks gets hit by a quirk that turns him back into an eight-year-old. Dabi is the lucky winner who finds him. Over the next few days they both learn some things about each other.

    When a teenager is dragged into a police station by someone with a self-proclaimed de-aging quirk, it seems too improbable that one of the most notorious villains in Japan could actually be reverted to a scrawny sixteen year old.

    But then the blood tests come back, and the quirk labs hand in their results, and it seems that Dabi really is a teenager again- and claiming to be the dead Todoroki Touya, of all things.

    OR: Touya never expected to wake up a wanted fugitive, but with his luck, he's hardly surprised.

    Naomasa nods and everyone else buys the tale. They’re all looking at one thing only. Specifically, the A-Rank villain known as Dabi who is, for all intents and purposes, currently five years old.

     

    aka, Dabi is turned into a child and suddenly turns a lot more talkative, leading to some (possibly unwanted) revelations.
