Summary
The principles of Gusu Lan Sect have much to say about alphas. Most of it can be condensed into the word avoid. Arrogant, violent, cruel, domineering, and sexually voracious by nature, alphas are incapable of ordering their behavior by the Gusu Lan principles. They are not accepted into the sect.
Although technically permitted, no sect has ever sent an alpha as a guest disciple for the lectures, either. Until this year.

Summary
Jin Ling had met Sizhui at a terrible time in his life. Not only in the sense that his sixteenth year was a time when his whole life was demolished to rubble—although that was true, too—but in the sense that his sixteenth year was the time in his life when his thoughts were most consumed by utter, abject horniness. So consumed by horniness that it was kind of a miracle that any of the life-destroying bits managed to hold his attention at all.
And into this mess glided Lan Sizhui, a human being perfectly calculated to turn all of that diffuse and undirected horniness into single-minded obsession. At a time when everything in Jin Ling’s life felt like a hot coal and his skin no longer seemed to fit, Lan Sizhui seemed so calm and strong, always sure of himself, graceful and elegant – and beautiful, too, with his smooth features and plush mouth and wide, dark eyes. All of that would have been enough. But then he had to be kind, without ever being a pushover, and brave, and funny, and such a talented cultivator that Jin Ling thought at first that the burning sensation in his gut was envy.
