There’s no denying the heartstopping fairness of this otherworldly vista, but it makes Kara feel small. “I simply don’t know what to make of Donna,” She says, and whatever else she would have said dies on her throat when Alex pretty much spits the wine she had just put on her mouth. Kelly rubs her wife back trying to calm down the fit of coughs she had devolved into, and Lena is a little lost at the reaction.
“Donna? As in Donna Troy?” Alex splutters.
“Yeah. I’m not crazy and she’s Wonder Girl, right? Like, it’s no coincidence that Wonder Woman's sidekick shows up to help Supergirl, out of nowhere by the way, and the next day Donna waltzes to brunch with Kara.” Lena rambles to Alex, ignoring the weird look both women share.
“I mean, yeah, that’s no coincidence. I guess Kara canceling now makes a whole lot of sense,” Alex comments, cleaning the wine stains from her hands with a napkin.
“What do you mean?” Her wife asks, just as curious as Lena herself.
“Well, they have history together."
