Summary
Queen almost found the sound of distant screams and shrieking metal to be a welcome relief, compared to the sharp whispers that had greeted their arrival into allied territory. The farther they got from their dropoff point, the less living cadets, the less people to point and judge. It wasn’t a pretty thought, she knew that. But it shouldn’t matter. She was a soldier, a l’Cie in training. One day, she’d be chosen by the Vermillion Phoenix. Better to brace herself for the frigidity the Crystal would require of her, than to be blindsided by a mission she wasn’t prepared to handle. Her fingers clenched around the hilt of her saber. Queen was made ready.
No gimmicks here, just a straightforward full-on rewrite of Final Fantasy Type-0. No canon knowledge necessary, leave your lore assumptions at the door.

Summary
It was a knife, silver blade polished to a mirror sheen. Its hilt and off-edge was a dark metal, and its guard was decorated with a carving of a skull. Ren swung it a few times. The weight felt good in his hand, even more fitting than the blade that had manifested into his grasp the moment he first called on Arsene's power. The wind in the dungeon caressed his back and he shuddered. For a moment, it sounded almost like a whisper: Sa....el.
Ren Amamiya isn't quite equipped to handle the ramifications of time travel, or the impending apocalypse, or the sudden appearance of two dozen more Persona-users with firsthand experience fighting gods, demons and everything in-between. The year had a plan for him, and this wasn't it. But when a Witch grants you the opportunity to save everyone you've ever loved, readiness should likely be the farther thing from your mind.
This isn't the first time he's had to play with the cards he's been dealt. And the game must begin again.

Summary
The light didn’t fade. It coalesced. And the form within screeched out a single, harmonious chime, a roar that echoed in Tatsuya’s bones. A dragon. That dragon, that hollow echo of another Duelist’s soul. Pearlescent armor, empty yellow eyes, with six wings like green glass, reflecting the spotlights in every direction. It was beautiful, and awful, and terrifying.
“Yugo’s–” Gongenzaka exclaimed, but cut himself off. A character break, clearly, but Tatsuya didn’t spare a single further thought to the young man’s error. Every ounce of attention was fixated on Dalet, on that mask. On whatever face must lie behind it.
Who in any dimension would they trust with those cards?

Summary
The Warrior pressed a palm against his forehead – or rather, he tried, his gauntlet merely clanked against his helmet. “Oh,” he said, feeling more than a little foolish. Others. Their faces blurred. Voices spread as thin as dust. A golden sheen obscuring the world. Something wasn’t quite fitting, like a painting with a single missing stroke.

Summary
"Like I said, I owe you. And besides, we've both got debts to call in with Shinra. When the time comes for that...I think it'd be nice to have someone like you on my side. And I bet you could use someone like me." She lifted a hand, palm-up towards the dark sky. A flicker of sparks across her fingers without so much as an incantation, shifting embers that burst into a steady fire suspended above her palm. "So, I guess what I'm trying to say?" She closed her hand, extinguishing the flame. "Ever think about doubling up, blondie?"
Revisionist retelling of FF7, with a very particularly inclined new party member.
