Summary
After the ambulance whisks Eddie's bloody body away from the crumbling Neibolt house, Richie thinks his life may just have crumbled between his fingers. A single doorbell ring a few months later changes all that.
A reimagined ending/continuation to IT Chapter 2 which focuses on how I would have liked to see Reddie become canon. I wrote this fic over the course of an entire year after the second movie came out. I'd sit on my hour subway ride to school and write on my phone in a notes app. I've finally found the time to lay it out the way I want and post it here. This fic has not been formally edited or Beta'd so some parts may be a bit rocky. I hope you enjoy!

“They’re distracting It,” Eddie says. “Are you OK? Are you concussed or--?”
“Goose-egg, probably,” Richie says, feeling the back of his head with his free hand, his knuckles scratching against the wall, his front pressed against Eddie, so small is their refuge.
“That’s not so bad, good, thank god,” Eddie says. “Bleeding?”
“Who the fuck knows, I’ve got so much shit in my hair right now,” Richie says. “Why did you kiss me?”
“Ben did it the first time when Bev was, and I thought maybe again, this time, it might--,” Eddie rushes out, surprised that he can still feel embarrassed when his adrenaline and fear are up so high. “I’m sorry, I--”
“So can I--?” Richie says, and doesn’t wait for an answer.**
Eddie kisses Richie to revive him. A little while later they talk about breakfast.

Summary
After Moriarty’s trial and shocking release, the uncertainty of the situation takes a toll on Sherlock, and he isolates himself on the couch. A welcome case of peculiar threats and murder finally gets them out of the flat, but John can see that Sherlock needs a break. On a whim they abandon a sweltering London for fresh seaside air, leading to picnics on the beach, fun fairs and dramatic chases, bee observations, quantification of attraction, fraught emotional moments, and a realisation of the need to define who they are to each other.
