Summary
Mondstadt hasn’t changed in the years he has been gone, but Diluc has. Diluc sees interactions with others as if there is a glass wall separating him from everyone else. He picks up the noise of ruffling knights outside the tavern door, of people teasing Kaeya on how his date went. Diluc has returned to the nation which raised him with wrists that won’t ever work the same and a body too broken to be touched casually, to a person he loved changed beyond recognition, a person he doesn’t know if he has ever recognized.

Summary
Barbed chains sprout from the palm of the glove and wounds themselves tightly against the intruder. Against the intruder’s will, the chain yanks their arms above their head and tightens it, slamming them into the wall a few feet above the ground. To their credit, they barely flinch.
Diluc recognizes the familiar voice and yet, some part of him refuses to unveil the true identity of his partner. Rational Diluc is out of the house, and Horny Diluc has taken over

Summary
Tartaglia stares longingly, his window remaining open as he took in the fresh air. It’s moments like these where he can experience freedom. In reality, he knows he never will. His Tsaritsa simply doesn’t need him at the moment. She hasn’t in a long while. But he can dream from within a comfortable abode in Liyue, away from the rest of the world. For now, he can be “Tartaglia” while “Childe” can be locked away.
… And then, a man from Liyue, with eyes more brilliant than Cor Lapis, comes knocking upon his door. Metaphorically and literally.

In which Childe was personally raised by the Tsaritsa as a living weapon. He spends his time living a domestic life in Liyue’s mountains on a years-long standby. And that is fine. He’s a monster anyway. People are meant to run far away from him.
( Chapter 3 and beyond are written after the 1.1 update. I have fully seen the rest of Liyue's story and the Childe story quest! )
