Zagreus' mother is back in the Underworld. The prospect of reaching Olympus seems impossible for now and, frankly, not as appealing anymore.
Still Zagreus keeps fighting his way up to the surface relentlessly under the pretext that he simply has to, not to rouse the suspicion of Olympian Gods. The true reason for his never-ending escapes - is rather different.

Achilles has adopted a more casual style of dress when he spends time with Patroclus in Elysium.

    It's also much more revealing.

    Summary

“He’s a lot like a bird, I feel.” That makes Achilles cock his head, curiosity roused. “He’s full of energy that refuses to be pinned down,” Patroclus begins in answer to the question Achilles didn’t ask. “Never sitting still, always ready to take flight again at a moment’s notice, wherever he might want to go. They’re both joyful and confident in the way they move through life.”

It’s an astute observation. Patroclus knows Zagreus better than Achilles gives him credit for; he never would have thought to draw such a comparison.

“I don’t think Zagreus knows what birds are,” Achilles comments idly, since he can’t think of anything more intelligent to say.

As it so happens, relationships work much the same way below the earth as they did upon its surface; they rely upon giving and accepting. Patroclus needs to remember how to give. Achilles needs to remember how to accept. And Zagreus needs to slow down enough to manage either.
