CodenameCarrot

A green bath with a mortician window; a lady is facing away fom the viewer, naked except for a cloth slug low around her hips. Perhaps she'll enter the bath, perhaps she's just an attendant, preparing the room for a future bather.

This is a mostly-MCU universe assumes that Tony Stark attended MIT from 1981 to 1986. Building 20 still stood, and the crack epidemic was going strong in the industrial area and housing projects abutting the North-East edge of campus. MIT was - and remains - an institution like no other, and this story tries to introduce it to us through Tony's eyes.

    Enticement by DahYelTal

New Vulcan has bars, markets, and V'tosh ka'tur. Bones has a one-night stand with Sybok.

Maybe Leonard was just hanging out with the wrong kind of Vulcans because these ones looked the opposite of stuffy. And that one with the laugh? Looked like a more Sareky version of Spock, and damn, was he handsome.

In Which Palpatine Suffers a Ghost Infestation by BloodyMary

Noting but a short laugh: Palpatine is haunted by Nubian ghosts critiquing his (regrettable) fashion choices.

It was on the day of his triumph—the day when the Jedi Order fell and he crowned himself Emperor—that Darth Sidious heard the voice of his father whisper into his ear. It was slightly disconcerting, given that his father had been dead for years now.

“Flesh of my flesh, red?” Cosinga Palpatine asked. His tone was that of cool, well-bred disapproval. “With your complexion?”

    Reunion by Meri

Does what it says on the tin: A conversation on New Vulcan between Sarek and Spock Prime. A wonderful conversation that is by turns melancholy and hopeful, distant and intimate.

"I did not apply. I submitted my application to Star Fleet and presented it to my father as a fait accompli." Spock could still remember his father's eyes burning with suppressed rage at his choice. In the argument that ensued, his father's voice never rose above a normal conversational tone, but Spock had been taken aback by his father's narrow view.

"Why do it that way? Was your father not insulted?"

"He was. He had hoped that I would follow tradition. We did not speak for eighteen years after I left. He refused to allow my mother to contact me."

"And she called or wrote to you every week, correct?" The fondness in his words made Spock's chest tight.

And he had to hold back a smile. "Indeed."
