Akechi remained still, his hand clenched around Akira’s as if trying to break it. “What are you getting at, then?” he asked flatly, tilting his head down as he watched Akira through his bangs, one thin eyebrow raised in annoyance. “You have plenty of other people—other friends,” he spat the word, as if tasting acid on his tongue, “that I’m sure would be more than happy to do whatever it is you want. What does this have to do with me?”
Akira is forced to come to terms with the consequences of his decisions.

Soft Goro Week 2020 Day 7 ~ Free Day
A thousand folded paper cranes were said to make a wish come true. It didn’t take any counting for Akira to determine that this was not that many, but it was probably the most he’d seen outside of charity events. Akira already knew what his greatest wish was, that revelation had been physically manifested before his very eyes. He couldn't ask for more.
Akira starts finding origami cranes in his bag. He has his suspicions about their origins.
