Summary
Wei WuXian felt particularly tired today. Lan WangJi had woken him up at around 9 am, and no matter how much he protested, had insisted on him getting up. Even after being married for several months and having stayed in Gusu since then, Wei WuXian was still as far from adapting to the crazy sleeping habits of the Lan Sect as on the first day. Even though it had come in handy sometimes in the past, he still felt that it was unnatural how they all went to sleep at nine pm each day and got up like clockwork at five am straight.
While trying to bathe and to put on his clothes in at least a semi-straight way, he only registered about half of what Lan Wangji was telling him about the latest developments in the cultivation world. Which he felt like was already quite a success, before breakfast.
Apparently, reports had come in that lately there had been an increase in heavy rainfalls and floods in the eastern parts of the country....
The juniors, Lan Wangji and Wei Wuxian set out to investigate.

Wei Ying has only just gotten back from one of the most exhausting, emotional night hunts of his life, only to be dragged right back to Gusu for an audience with the Lan Elders which he absolutely doesn't want. He's just trying to stay afloat in his shitty Yiling apartment and take care of his son, but Lan Zhan insists, and, well. It's Lan Zhan. The person he wants so badly and cannot have and doesn't deserve. Wei Ying can't bring himself to refuse, so now here they are.
