Summary
Eddie volunteers to help out at Chris next school fundraiser and then Buck volunteered to help him prepare. Eddie’s not sure that’s such a good idea.
Not many people know that Eddie Diaz is actually quite creative, true he doesn’t get to indulge that side of himself very often, his various life choices made sure of that but at high school he’d loved art and had spent much of his spare time sketching and painting. Buck knew that, the result of one of their many late night conversations and it had been him who’d nudged Eddie in the side and said you should do that, you’d be good at it.
So he’d volunteered. He glares at the brushes, sponges and pots of colours.
He can hear Buck moving through the house now.
It’s a very bad idea.
He’d been thinking about starting some sketching again, doing something for himself. He’s thought about getting the paints out, maybe encouraging Chris to join him. Not this though, he hadn’t planned on doing this.

“What the fuck happened to you?” Eddie asks as he pushes past Buck to put his beer in the fridge.
Buck scoffs. “Nice to see you so worried, Eddie. Please, come in, make yourself comfortable while I try to figure out what to use for ice.”
Eddie is already reaching for a plastic bag from the drawer beside the silverware while opening the freezer with his other hand. He pushes the drawer shut with his hip and fills the bag, tying it off with the zip ties Buck keeps stocked in a mug Christopher made for him during art class. It’s shaped like an otter because Buck had surprised Christopher with a trip to the aquarium the week before and was instantly obsessed.

Summary
Arthur isn't speaking to Merlin, after having found out about his magic and all the secrets Merlin kept. Worse, a drought has overtaken Camelot, and it can only be lifted with a sacrifice to the gods of the Old Religion... and the sacrifice can only be performed by the king. The king and the land are one, was how they phrased it in ancient times. According to the druids, Arthur must humble himself before the gods, then spill his seed in a sacred grove at a sacred time. The druids warn him, though: just because the sacrifice is simple, does not mean it will be easy.
Preparation for the ritual drags Arthur's innermost fantasies to the surface, where he can ignore them no longer. As far as Arthur is concerned, it doesn't matter that he's in love with Merlin, Merlin must never find out about Arthur's secret desires... but a secret part of him wonders, what if Merlin did?
