"Is...is he…" Jon pauses and frowns. "What on earth is he trying to spell?"
"I'm not sure?" Martin hesitantly says, and it's then Jon realizes they're both speaking in hushed tones as if somehow, from his jail cell miles away, Jonah Magnus can hear them. "Whatever it is he's really struggling with it and...oh. He just deleted that whole sentence. Guess he's changed his mind?"
Jon snorts. This keeps going for a bit, and Jon watches especially as Jonah tries to write what appears to be the summoning part of the ritual. Or what could be called the "summoning part" if Jon squinted and used his imagination. Like. A lot.

But Hunter was a Grimwalker, so Darius is sure that doesn’t apply in the slightest. Still, the Coven Head tried his best to provide a good environment, praying to the Titan that he’ll grow safely.
Maybe “grow” was the wrong thing to ask the Titan for.
Vague Post-Canon AU, Darius comes to terms with adopting Hunter. Hunter comes to terms with flowers growing out of his head.
