Renowned cultivator Lan Wangji travels to Yiling after its frightened residents travel all the way to Gusu to beg for help with a dangerous monster. In the Yiling mountains, Lan Wangji meets a mysterious stranger who is entirely too attractive for Lan Wangji’s peace of mind. And has a disconcerting habit of appearing in nothing but underwear every time they meet. While Lan Wangji searches for the monster, he keeps running into this charming stranger. Is it fate, or is it something else?
Note: This story is set in a canon-based AU world with no Sunshot Campaign and features nine-tailed fox Wei Wuxian and human cultivator Lan Wangji. It's...not creepy at all, sorry. But warning for vulpine reproductive anatomy? (Hint: foxes are canids – see tags.)
