    AU Where Sothis cannot speak to Byleth and instead spams her with memories and visions because the Goddess really doesn't want her daughter's shady plans for her to come to fruition.

    While Rhea feverishly anticipates finally succeeding in bringing her mother back- waiting patiently until the oh so willing vessel will sit on the throne- Byleth, on the other hand has been casually drowning in all sorts of memories featuring a deeply emotional Rhea in various moments -mostly dark ones- of her painful life and has now come to develop her own feelings for the illustrious Archbishop, feelings very unlike that of Sothis.

    Unfortunately for Rhea, neither Byleth nor Sothis have ever mastered the skill of being subtle and now the Archbishop will be the one to suffer the consequences of it, which is solely her own fault really.

     

    OR

    The fic where Byleth and Rhea have a contest where they insist on making each other as deeply uncomfortable as possible by refusing to agree on the nature of Byleth's feelings, while Sothis is the very unwilling spectator.

    Summary

    The Rhea who died in Crimson Flower and the Edelgard who died in Silver Snow meet in what seems like a temporary purgatory. There they are told that because of their actions, Byleth -who cared deeply for both of them- felt so torn as to who to follow she inadvertently tore both herself and time apart, splitting the timeline in two.

    Now it's up to both Edelgard and Rhea, who are still hurt by the memories of their own failure, downfall and death, to look back at their past and somehow find a way to create a future where Byleth is spared the agony of watching them go to war with one another.

    This utterly displeases both of them, and they're still very angry with each other.
    Luckily their bodies are invincible...

    A retelling of post-timeskip Azure Moon, featuring a Dimileth perspective.

    He did not remember what it felt like, when he wrote in his journal that he had fallen in love. There was still muscle memory, though, when he looked at her. She sat cross-legged, away from him, her chin resting on her hand and her hair cascading down her back. He did not mean to watch her, but even she was a reminder of why he deserved to suffer the way he did. He had let her down, too.

    Chapter 1: Byleth finds a cold and tortured Dimitri in the ruins of Garrech Mach.
    Chapter 2: Before, during, and after the battle at the Bridge of Myrddin.
    Chapter 3: Dimitri and Byleth dance around each other while preparing for the battle at Gronder
    Chapter 4: Post-Gronder, Dimitri comes to terms with his own self.
    Chapter 5: Byleth and Dimitri, finally, allow themselves time together
    Chapter 6: Dimitri cannot accept that things are looking up for him.
    Chapter 7: Hilda interrupts a sweet moment between Byleth and Dimitri.
