He stepped out of the woods into the clearing with his arms held out, dropping his bag in favor of raising his hands as he registered three rifles pointed his way.
They didn't immediately open fire, which was nice. Jason had been prepared for that possibility, but getting shot was better than starving or freezing to death.
"State your name and business."
The pack alpha was even bigger up close, a wall of muscle silhouetted against the fire, and for a moment Jason cursed himself for spending so long fighting with himself. This would have been much easier in the daylight.
He let out a wheeze, trying to apologize, then tipped his chin up in a sign of submission. The atmosphere shifted, and he saw the dark-haired girl lower her rifle out of the corner of his eye.
"No way…"

Tim never expected it to be him, though. In the wrong alley on the wrong night, he finds himself taken by the worst kind of people and trapped in what might actually be hell. His savior doesn't look like one at first, but thankfully he'll have an opportunity to recover and maybe find happiness... If only Jason would pull his head out of his ass.

Summary

A majority of the time, Dick is perfectly fine with having his identity secret from Slade, and the other man doesn't seem too bothered by it, either. Fucking doesn't require the removal of masks, after all.
But right now, currently kidnapped and imprisoned as Dick Grayson, he's really wishing the mercenary knew who he'd just taken captive for a job.
