“Come on Sherlock you have to lay down. We can talk about this later.” But Sherlock was tired of it. So tired. Of laters which never came. Of missed opportunities. He felt like the blow to his head really was getting to him because he wanted to scream. To say things he shouldn’t say. He was exhausted. So exhausted.
After the events of Season 4, everything seems to be back to normal in 221B Baker Street. But a case and a strong blow to the head might be exactly what Sherlock and John need to face what is left of their friendship and what could come out of it. -

Summary
August 1994: These are John Watson's last summer holidays. It's his first trip abroad in ages, and the first one without his parents -- three weeks on a camping site at the French Atlantic Coast, together with Harry and her girlfriend. It's swimming and hanging around at the beach, red wine in the evening and sleeping in. Until a dark-haired boy at John's age puts up his tent a few feet away from him and changes everything.

John starts writing gay romance while holed up in hospital. Sherlock reads the first fic on accident, and it sticks with him for days. He can't help but read more from the unknown writer. Little does he know, the writer isn't exactly unknown to him. The writer happens to be the A&E Doctor he's feuding with.
