Ochako’s class was loud, capitalized. She winced upon opening the door, deciding not to engage in whatever was happening in the front of the classroom, instead squinting at the board, finding her name as fast as she could, and failing at that--thank you, dyslexia. She panned down, trying to find the first kanji of her name, not bothering to read the others all the way through.
In which Ochako, Tenya, and Izuku are born a year early.

The next switch happens during English in the following days. One moment, sixteen-year-old Yaoyorozu is dutifully reciting a passage for the class, and then Momo is there, dressed in a stylish pantsuit and holding a stack of papers, reaching for a phone that isn’t there as her eyes scan the meeting discussion points. Her hand smacks against Shinsou’s arm.
“Ow,” says Shinsou, more out of reflex than any actual pain.
Momo drops the papers. “Not now—I have a meeting in five minutes!”
On a mission, ten or so years into the future, a few members of Class A arrest a villain with a time travel quirk. They switch places with their younger selves one at a time.
It is very inconvenient.

For fifteen years of his life, green had been a source of safety and comfort. It was the color of grass, soft and dewy beneath his fingers in the early morning. It was the taste of apples, sour and sweet on his tongue. It was the soft chirp of a grasshopper, late at night when quiet was all the world knew.
It was the only color he could see: the viridian of his soulmates’ eyes.

One morning, as Midoriya Izuku awoke, a poem popped into his mind. To his surprise, the poem's predictions came true within the day. Each day after, he would receive a Prophecy, one that gave him hints or advice about the day ahead.
("Avoid 5th avenue this afternoon,
Or slip and fall, like a buffoon." - very helpful, in Izuku's opinion...)
Midoriya is very excited to get his quirk, but the doctor already diagnosed him quirkless. When he tells people that he predicts each day in poems, everyone is skeptical. But as Izuku's garners a reputation as a liar, he also prepares for his future as a hero, guided towards the good and away from the bad by his quirk. He's not sure if his quirk is really sentient, but it feels like, for the first time, that someone believes in him.
