This this THIS is something I've wanted to see ever since I finished watching season 3 of BSD. Chuuya joining the agency. YES.
As much as I enjoy seeing him as the antagonist and on the opposing side, it's just as intriguing to consider what it'd be like if he changed his loyalties. The ADA in canon has already accepted 2 former Port Mafia members, and Fukuzawa's gift is the perfect setup for Chuuya to gain control of Corruption. Theoretically speaking, Chuuya could very well enter the ADA without any plot holes. The opportunity is right there, and the author of this fic seized that chance and put this idea into practice. This was a lovely read: humorous, lighthearted, introspective, and poetic. I adored it, and it's such a blessing to see Chuuya find happiness in his new position.

this is one pretty, pretty, PRETTY concept. the writing style may be concise, simple, and sweet, but the concept itself is something i never would've thought of. it's also not what i expected when i read the summary. but this fic brings out the strengths in gumshoe's character, and the vulnerability in edgeworth's, and it mashes these two aspects together to make something beautiful.

God, this one's absolutely mind-blowing. It's a journey of healing and self-discovery for Edgeworth, and the germination of a new stage of his life that'll eventually blossom into something beautiful. Edgeworth analyzes his past through the lenses of a more experienced and seasoned version of himself. His perspective is different now that he's older, and the things that he once feared and didn't understand settle into the grim reality it is, but even so, there's beauty even amongst the darkest things. He realizes and acknowledges that. So he's able to move forward, to pursue that hint of light and hope waiting for him in the future.

The prose. This is the type of vocabulary I could spend hours agonizing over in order to craft the perfect piece and I would still never manage it. This is the dainty, flowery language that makes you feel inexplicably warm and fuzzy inside. Character introspection is one of my favorite things in all of fanfiction, because it gives you an insight into a person that you wouldn't commonly think about, and moreover, it gives you what the author, in particular, thinks of a character. It's always wonderful to view new perspectives.
