Logan Croft wants to forget.
He wants to forget sunny smiles, the feeling of warm hands in his, the names of his family on his tongue. He wants to forget the false promises of something to eat, the hollowness of their cheekbones, the way their warm, comforting touch grew so cold. He wants to forget everything he's lost, everything that clings to him like thorns and barbed wires, wants to forget the pain when they cut through his walls and make him bleed.
So, he packs his things and heads North, busies his mind with stress and work, and distances himself from an empty memory.
He succeeds—at least, until everything grows too much to bear. When faced with a helpful pair of humans, a creature whose situation is similar to his, and the threat of losing this home, too, Logan might have to recognize that the only way to accept a loss, is to remember he ever had someone to care for.

Summary
Roman has a fire, scorching and churning through every inch of him. He burns so much hotter that the people around him, drowning them out with the heat of his core. Every time the full moon reaches his peak, that fire consumes him. One day, luck strikes, and he finds something that can potentially extinguish the flames. Seeing his opportunity to fix things, he seizes it.

Thomas has never dealt with anything this intense before. He's heard of depression of course, and has even met a few people who have told him about their own experiences with the illness, but he himself has never experienced the terrible sickness.
Until now. At first, it came subtle. He got a little less excited about things that would normally thrill him, had less energy to do the things he wanted to do...
His sides had noticed the change. Patton, Roman, and Logan had even been losing their ability to influence him, along with their ability to speak to him directly.
It happened the day after he first answered wrong. He knew it was the wrong answer. One of his friends had asked him if he was alright. They'd noticed him acting weird and they were worried. "Yeah, I’m great! Just… tired, I guess…”
