“Kookie,” Jimin breathed when he got close enough. “I – when Yoongi told me, I thought you were – ”
Jungkook took three large steps forward, swooping Jimin up in his arms for a searing kiss. It made Jimin’s knees go weak as he frantically reached out to grasp Jungkook’s shoulders to keep his body from collapsing.
“Stay with me tonight,” Jimin begged when he finally had a chance to breathe. “Don’t go home.”
Jungkook wrapped his arms around Jimin again, but this time in a warm embrace with his head buried in Jimin’s neck.
“I’m not going anywhere.”
Jimin is living the life of a normal, post-college graduate. He works at a job he doesn't like, lives on the opposite side of the country as his best friend, and is stuck sneaking his boyfriend into his bedroom while sleeping under his parent's roof.
But when the president's family faces an unidentified threat, it makes his life anything but normal.
- Part 2 of The President's Son
Jungkook turned towards the kitchen - and walked straight into the icy glare of Min Yoongi.
“Are you always this late?”
Jungkook tried to bite his tongue. “I was talking to – ”
“I don’t care who you were talking to,” Yoongi snapped. He had both arms crossed firmly over his chest as he continued to berate Jungkook in front of the rest of the staff. “How am I supposed to trust you to get my food out on time if you can’t follow a simple direction that I gave less than five minutes ago?”
Jungkook stared at his feet. “It won’t happen again, chef.”
“Better fucking not.”
Jungkook always dreamed of becoming a chef in the future. When Yoongi, a culinary genius with unusual social skills, shows up in the kitchen of Gusto d'Italia, Jungkook becomes awestruck.
Hoseok had this... reputation.
His public reputation was virtually flawless.
But that was hardly the case in the practice room.
Namjoon intervened. He had kept quiet for the last few minutes, but seemed to notice that it was finally time for him to step in as the leader of the group. “Jungkook – I’m sorry you’re having a difficult time processing Jimin’s news, but you need to learn to accept this. Jimin’s a part of this team and no one’s letting him go anywhere, so if you can’t find a way to be ok with it, then we’ll have a much bigger problem – and it won’t be with Jimin.”
Jimin comes out to the members. Jungkook can't understand why he's the only one that's bothered by it.
Yoongi stared up at the tall man.
“You’re… not a woman.”
The man arched an eyebrow in response.
“I could say the same to you.”
“But…” Yoongi blinked, pulling his gaze away to stare down at the piano keys he’d been playing only minutes before. “There’s no way my life is this fucked up.”
The man huffed in irritation. Yoongi caught him adjusting the shoulder strap of his bag as his annoyance rose. “Yeah, well it’s not exactly a walk in the park for me, either, sunshine.”
