If she hadn't died in the first place, Chrissy probably never would have met Robin. She's already grateful for the second chance she's been given. And with each passing month, she's more and more grateful for Robin in particular - even if their friendship is stirring up feelings she doesn't know how to describe.
“Sadly I never learned the feminine arts of hair-braiding.”
“I could braid it for you.” The words are out before Chrissy even thinks about it, and for some reason, as soon as she hears what she said, she wishes she could take it back. Robin squints up at her, cheeks flushed from the heat. “Um. If you want me to.” It feels like she crossed a line because her heart stutters in anticipation of rejection.

Will stares down at his hands, spread on his bare knees. His fingers are weird-shaped, knobbly at the knuckles. For an instant, the spiderweb of the cocoon the Demogorgon wrapped him up in stretches out thin between them. It was probably too much to hope that this would be his chance to be like everyone else. He’s just about to motivate himself to leave the dorm before he has a full-on panic attack when footsteps down the hall make him reconsider.
“It’s MIT, mom, I’m sure there will be kosher food in the dining hall,” someone is saying. “Oh, 204, this is it, looks like my roommate’s - Will Byers?”
Will, frozen halfway between his bed and the door, stops and stares. His roommate’s shorter than him by a bit, stocky. He’s wearing what looks like three jackets over a battered green T-shirt with a nearly illegible print. He has a baseball camp jammed over unruly curls, and a wide, toothy grin splitting his face open.
OR: They were roommates. Oh my god, they were roommates
The house on Neibolt was standing again.
Bill was talking about going in alone. How?
“So does somebody want to say something?” Eddie asked, still breathing, still fucking breathing and alive and not dripping his Goddamn organs out of his chest.
“Richie said it the b-best when we were here last,” Bill said.

It’s the first time in a while that he doesn’t know what comes next. He’s dove into the water hundreds of times. Screamed as his flesh was torn apart, heard Master of Puppets in the distance and held back tears. Felt Max’s cold, small hand in his as she laid in the hospital bed. There are things that always happen, no matter how hard he tries: El doesn’t arrive in time. Eddie dies. Max is put in a coma.
Steve fails. They lose.
“Steve, how many loops have you been through?”
His head is nodding, and his eyes are watery, and Eddie has approached him like a spooked animal.
“I lost count.”
AKA: The one where Steve Harrington is stuck in a time loop, and Eddie Munson is really fucking hard to save, or: fuck Volume 2, these bitches are in love.
