"Hypothetically," the kid began, pausing as he tried to collect his thoughts. He cleared his throat, trying again. "Hypothetically, if someone, say the League of Villains, was trying to recruit a vigilante, and wouldn't take no for an answer," Eraserhead stiffened, dread curling in his stomach as he listened, "and they started sending tails after said vigilante, trying to find their civilian identity, not only putting themself but their family at risk…" the kid made a choked noise, shoulders hunching up around his ears.
"In this hypothetical scenario, would the vigilante be able to hand themselves in to the police in order to cut a deal for their family's protection?"
