Summary
The Miss Fisher and TV Theme Songs is a fun little series I cooked up in the vein of one of fandom's early knack for bringing a favorite fandom to established songs. It could be a pop song, nursery rhyme song, even the theme to a TV series.
An explanation of filk songs/singing for those unfamiliar - filk singing (or filking) is when you put new lyrics to a known song. A mainstream example that most people would be familiar with would be the collected works of 'Weird Al' Yankovic. The filk song could be a parody or simply by putting the characters of your favorite fandom into the song you love. Having a love of TV theme songs and MFMM, my brain decided to take two things I love and blend them together.
Each entry in this series will have 'my version' with the original included below for reference.
I hope you have as much fun with them as I have in writing them. If you have any suggestions or requests, do leave them in the comments. I'll try to add to the series every so often.

Summary
This collection came about during the "2017 Year of Tropes" ficcing. Each month had a trope, and due to the August Bonus Trope (Collection Name: "Squeezing It In"), as well as the December grace month - allowing for any missed month's tropes to be added to - the concept of 'crowbarring' the fics (missed & planned) into the monthly trope collections resulted in the grouping of my fics that followed that line of thought to be named "The Crowbar Chronicles." Make sense? Or have I totally confused?
Either way, I hope you enjoy. There's always an opportunity to squeeze just one more in, eh?

Summary
Most of us have favorite movies and TV shows - ones we know and love and will watch over and over. And in theses beloved pieces, there are certain lines of dialog that stick out – lines that you love, that strike a chord with you, that you connect with. And maybe, on occasion, you thought those lines might fit quite nicely into another of your favorite fandoms. Like a mash up of sorts à la Mad Libs perhaps, but not really?
I've collected a number of these quotes that fairly screamed they'd be a great fit for MFMM, and I could completely imagine certain characters uttering those lines. In order not to pre-color your view of the MFMM fic, the lifted dialog (w/references) will be in the end notes, so as not to confuse you. Kind of like “The Sixth Sense” – a multi-leveled story that reveals more layers upon a second viewing. It's a way of putting a different spin on dialog you may already know and love.
I hope I haven’t left you confounded and confuddled, and hope I have, perhaps, exposed you to a film or show you weren't familiar with or re-exposed you to a favorite you hadn't watched in ages & broadened your horizons.

Summary
This whole series began due to the hilarity of Cowalyn's (over on tumblr) creation of the “Jack-O-Matic 5000X” so we could each have our very own version of Jack. This made me think of all the varieties of 'Jack' we authors have in all our fics, & that it's almost like checking out a book from a library... which made my brain go in the direction that the "Jack's" we have in our fics are ones we check out from a Library. That when they are returned, they are in various conditions as dictated by that individual story.
One particular fic, "Between the Shadow and the Soul" by LadyRoxie, had Jack endure some rather nasty and heinous injuries. (It's a great story, though - go read it.) At the end of it, I kinda (brain) snapped that Jack had be horribly burned. (How could anyone do that to this wonderful man?!) I probably looked like a cartoon character pushing up her sleeves, shouting, "THAT'S IT!! Rasser-frasser...mumble, mumble." That was the impetus to write this phic/series.
At the time I wasn't quite sure what meta-fiction was. Apparently my subconscious did. This series is a repository for commentary on the MFMM fandom, whether on tumblr, AO3, IG, or wherever. Just a bit of 4th wall fun.
