I knew I should have brought the bag full of kittens to the shelter right after I found them but my son has been wanting a pet and I've always liked cats. WORST DECISION EVER. They were normal (kind of) for about a week when they suddenly turned into 9 (hot) men and one lady for 30 minutes. Every week after that their time spent as humans was extended by 30 min. and man were they annoying. WARNING lots of cursing (not just from hidan).

This story is a huge ball of angst, with a lot of tearjerkers, but it's such a great story! But between how much is going on in the story, and the slow update, a few necessary reminders about the story to myself:
This is that story where...
...Gabriel finally goes too far in his abuse of Adrien, and Adrien runs away, hiding away as Chat Noir.
...Chat Noir has cat tendencies, but he is also slowly transforming into a catboy, scaring the hell out of Plagg because it could easily lead to Chat losing himself and *becoming* an actual cat.
...Plagg is freaked out and scared out of his mind all the time because of what's been happening to Chat.
...Plagg and Tikki are freaked out because Ladybug too is slowly getting cat tendencies, Ladybug and Chat Noir are basically transforming together, which is unique to Marinette and Adrien for reasons they don't know.
...Adrien has had supplies stashed away in a lot of corners of Paris for the eventuality he has to run away from home.
...Tom and Sabine welcome Chat into their home, and Tom even goes so far as to personalise the guest room for Adrien, despite knowing he'll probably barely use it or if he does, it'll be with Marinette.
...Nino thinks it's a good thing Adrien sought shelter at the Dupain-Cheng home because of how starved Adrien is: food, affection, touch - you name it, and Adrien needs it, and the Dupain-Chengs can amply provide it.
...Certain Buildings are certified as akuma shelters and sanctuaries, which provides a loophole for sheltering abuse victims.
