Summary
Before she was the Dragonborn, she was Ailith Copperwing. An overachieving mage with a talent for embarassing her teachers.
A moment of carelessness throws her into the Imperial City Prison at 15 years old and face to face with a savage, locked up for public disturbances and wild drunken behaviour. Torban Thrice-Banished believes he is untouchable and confesses to murder while clamping his bloody hands around Ailith's neck. Ailith is terrified and appalled that he can confess to hideous crimes knowing he'll be unpunished. With the loving support of her parents, Ailith begins her journey to find power and enough of it to finally get Thrice-Banished put behind bars for good.
As well as her parents, Ailith quickly forms bonds within the Fighter's Guild and with the mysterious Khajiit, Theranni. He is equally drawn to Ailith and pledges to help her hunt down the evasive bandit. With him fighting by her side, Ailith feels invincible. But is she?
Inspired by characters created in the Skyrim Romance Mod and Beyond Skyrim: Bruma. This is the story of my Dragonborn before she faces Alduin and meets Bishop. For any fans of the SRM and of Bishop, it's a while before he has any role in Ailith's story.

Summary
When you get reincarnated in a new universe in a Gamer-style deal you want a system you can break and make yourself a god in. What you don't want is an MMO-system balanced to scale with you. But that's what I got, ESO not Oblivion. It's a bit of a raw deal but I'm sure I can make it work.

Summary
While in Resdayn under the leadership of Nerevar and Dumac mer triumphed over men in their neighboring country Cyrodiil the opposite was the case. The Ayleids - once rulers of an Empire - now had to fear for their lives and were fleeing their homeland to seek refuge from the relentless, mer-hating Order of Marukh. Canonical records tell us the fate of those Ayleids who fled to Valenwood, High Rock or the Summersets and those who attempted to flee to Blackmarsh, Elseweyre and even Skyrim. But no information can be found on Ayleids fleeing to Resdayn. Still with their shared border in the Valus mountains it is likely that some attemted to use that route.
This story features a group of Ayleid OCs who come to Mournhold where they ask for asylum.Series

Summary
"Be quick, be clever, be strong, and if you can't be those then at least be lucky. Even the lesser people can get lucky." - Sergeant Menas of Imperial Legion IV the Empress's Own, also known as the "Lucky Fourth".
The story of how the first Menas to bear the name wound up in the Heartlands of Cyrodiil.
It is the year 1E 42. A brutal religious war has divided the Ayleid States of Cyrodiil for a generation. Now one elite soldier is in the very heart of enemy territory on a covert mission to end the fighting and bring her great glory. For two years she and the best minds in her city have worked to bring down the ruler of their neighbour and enemy state. Her blade is sharp, her plan is flawless, her Will is strong.
But even the greatest scheme is only as good as its weakest link, and she has staked the lives of everyone in the Nibenay on one stocky brown-haired human from a place she's never heard of.
(Set about 200 years before the events of ALSS: Nenalata, during the last great war between the Ayleid states before the slave revolt.)

Summary
The King of Nenalata is dead, or so they say. He disappeared months ago, fighting the Direnni with Emperor Ami-El's army in the frozen mountains of the Reach. Meanwhile a coup in the Imperial City has brought life to a standstill for much of Tamriel, and the Legion to the ancient skysteel gates of Laloriaran's city.
To historians and diplomats it is either the end of a long slide towards war or the start of a bright new future. But for four people far away in another country it is a more personal crisis. They all have scars to show for their time in the great City of the Shining Waters, but some have healed better than others.
COMPLETED
-- A stand-alone short(ish) story about some of the characters from A Life of Strife and Struggle: Nenalata. It covers the years between Chapter 1 and Chapter 2 of Laloriaran Dynar's memoirs, but from a very different perspective, and explains a bit of background. No spoilers, and not necessary to understand Part 1 or the future Part 2 of ALSS. --
