As things stand, Ren has the life he's always wanted. He's surrounded by friends and family. He gets to play basketball again. His sister is happy, or at least she isn't outwardly showing she's not happy. Futaba actually leaves the house sometimes. He loves his girlfriend. Seriously, life is pretty good.
Except there's a murderer living in LeBlanc's attic who's father just died and nobody knows who did it because the only person who can use that method is stuck inside LeBlanc's attic. Clear?

Summary
After the battle against Nyx Avatar and Nyx, Makoto Yuuki and Kotone Shiomi gave their life to form the Great Seal using her bonds, blocking Erebus from reaching Nyx and enacting the Fall. Everything continues like normal until after March 5th 2010, when the two protagonists "died" holding out their promise to make it to graduation, the two universes naturally merged together into one as the events taking places in both are too similar to be seperated, rendering the Seal sacrifices to be overkill (as it only takes 1 human soul and no more). Now no longer needed for the Seal, Kotone is now brought back into the real world again on a new adventure, this time meeting some familiar faces in that one dream she had.

A full rewrite of Trust Me, I Want Me Dead, Too, with the same characters and a lot of the same plot points but without the absurd number of frustrations I had with the original version.
Ren Amamiya has made some incredible friends over the years but even the best of friends become irritating when you’re stuck in a debilitating time loop that refuses to end. His 112th time is different. This time, he’s got a ton of new friends, a ton of new enemies, a potential way out, and a nihilistic attitude that tells him none of this will pan out well.
Chapter 5 will be the last posted chapter for a while so I can work on a different project.
(If you really want to read ahead, you can start reading Trust Me, I want Me Dead, Too from chapter 10 or so on. Things will be different in the rewrite, but that'll be a holdover for anyone who's too impatient.)

Honestly, I write far too much, If you want to just get to the point, reading chapters 1, and 5 onward are the only ones that are decently important, the rest is a lot of filler, a lot of character interactions and shipping that doesn't really move the plot forward. Like seriously it takes me till the 6th chapter to actually get into the answer story line...
