Summary
16 year old Katara Enuaraq is a student at Blackwell Academy in a fictional coastal Oregon town of Arcadia Bay. Ever since losing her mother in a car accident 2 years ago, Katara has been having trouble adjusting to the new reality, but when her father starts to date again, Katara's behavior spirals out of control.
16 year Azula Nakamura is the perfect little district attorney's daughter, Blackwell's drama star, honor student and member of the elite Vortex Club. For years, Azula has treated Katara as invisible, while Katara has dismissed Azula as a shallow social butterfly concerned only with her popularity.
A chance encounter under dangerous circumstances makes Azula take an interest in Katara, while Katara realizes that there's a side to Azula that she and many others aren't aware of. Will these two become positive influences on each other? Or will they instead get into an astounding amount of trouble as they spiral out of control together?

After his budding career in music was left in tatters over a false copyright accusation by the world’s leading music label, Aang needs to pull out all the stops to get into the coveted Avatar State University’s postgrad musical programme. He’s got some loyal friends and their musical skills to help him take on the powerful and corrupt Fire Nation Records, but their big plan to win it all at Comet Fest gets a serious hitch when they realise they need to find a tsungi horn teacher. And fast.
Luckily, Toph knows of a person who plays the tsungi horn willing to defy Fire Nation Records to be Aang’s teacher. Unluckily, this person is none other than Zuko, the man who betrayed them and helped nearly destroy Aang’s chances in music in the first place. Katara makes up her mind to go with Aang to every one of his lessons so that she can keep a watchful, unsympathetic eye on Zuko.
