It started off as a toddler and a teenager, one who lost their innocence at such a young age and one who retained theirs. It started off as a traumatized and cold teenager who refused to let herself open up to the thought that this stupid little fake family was real. In 1995, two former relics of the USSR, Melina Vostokoff 'The Iron Maiden' and Alexei Shostakov 'Red Guardian' defected to America to save themselves and their two daughters, Natasha and Yelena. 5 years later, the Red Room crumbles. Ivan Dreykov is captured in a Siberian bunker where they also found a 6 year old super soldier little boy bearing signs of abuse.
Little did they know how much this little boy will change the Shostakov family and forces Melina to confront her past that she has been trying to leave behind. A story of healing the deepest wounds from the past and a family standing by each other through thick and thin.
