Summary
Ignis lost more than just his sight in Altissia.
“I just don’t want to bother you,” Prompto whispers, “I don’t want to accidentally touch when you can’t - um. I just don’t want to bother you.”
“Can’t see you coming?” Ignis guesses.
“Yeah. Sorry.”
“I don’t want to break any fanciful ideas you have of me in your head,” Ignis says, half laughing, “But I promise you darling even before I was blind I could not see in the dark.”Alternatively: Prompto has a way of giving Ignis what he needs without even knowing it.

Summary
Luna is determined to walk in the footsteps of her ancestors and traverse through Phobetor's Forest, better known to many as the 'Forest of Fears' to give her more clarity when conversing with the Six. She must do this because it just might hold the key in getting her beloved Noctis back.
However, Regis refuses to let her go alone and orders the next two available high ranking officials to join her on her quest and protect her from the daemon that lurks in those woods. To Ardyn's horror, it's Cor and Prompto. Knowing he would never forgive himself if something happened to them, Ardyn tags along and as they step foot into the forest, they all come face to face with their greatest fears.

Summary
That vibration worked its way under the skin of the expedition team, shattered the resolve of half of them like a jackhammer against concrete. They peeled off the main group and made for the exit a mile above where Aranea and the rear guard waited in the frozen dark, subsisting on a newly claimed cache of five-year-old coffee and spite. The remaining three continued on with the sound of their boots echoing off the walls.
(You don't have to be familiar with the Dark Tower for this.)

Summary
Life chewed up and tossed Ignis away, depriving him both from his sight and his King, but thankfully he still had his friends beside. None of them knew how to deal with the situation without Noctis, so the only thing they could do was keep living and hoping for his return.
It wasn’t long before their facile scheme failed. The two of them decided if staying together hurt too much, they should try to go separate ways. Ignis supported their plan. He cared about Prompto and Gladio more than he needed the confirmation of his own capacity. If they wanted to leave, he wouldn’t hinder them.
To Ignis’ surprise, they didn’t stop coming to him.- Language:

Summary
There was a hollow ache in Gladio's chest that wouldn't go away.
All his life, he'd had no trouble sleeping. But ever since Prompto'd left for Cape Caem and those chocobos, the nights seemed to drag on. Gladio couldn't relax, for some reason, his mind alert, nerves catching on nothing at all.
At some point, Gladio'd gotten used to having him around. Kid hadn't even been gone that long. Wasn’t like the time a few years back, when Prompto'd stayed out at Hammerhead for almost six months straight. Now, he'd barely been gone a month.
So far, anyway.
Took awhile, but eventually, even Gladio had to admit it. He missed the little guy.
He wanted him home.

Summary
During the Long Night, Ignis becomes interested in the ancient civilisation of Solheim, to which he can trace his ancestry.
His theory is that because Solheim revered fire and turned against the Astrals, an investigation into Solheimian ruins could be the key to uncovering a way to battle the Astrals and save Noctis from the crystal and from his fate.
His research leads him on an expedition into one of the known Solheimian ruins in particular - the Pitioss Ruins, which were used as some kind of training ground in the past.

Summary
The last time Gladio'd seen Hammerhead, the sun had still been out, even if only for a few hours a day. Now, it filtered weakly through the scourge, its light dusky and wan. Prompto seemed to like the place, though. He'd been out here for months, now, so when Gladio heard about a caravan in need of a hunter heading east, he figured it was about time to check the place out again.
It hadn't changed much, from the look of things. The barricades were bigger, the buildings looked dirtier, everything worn and tired and thin.
Everything and everybody, including Prompto.
