Summary
Marc-Andre always carefully plans his heats for the summer, when he is away from his teammates and Vero can get him through them. Nobody planned for playoffs in august. Marc-Andre has only ever slept with his wife, and now his team management are leaning on him to use one of the alphas on the team to get him through his heat. There's only one of his teammates he trusts with this.
This is part of our hockey discord rpf collaborative a/b/o playoff heats universe :D

Summary
“Warmth bloomed inside Sid as Geno’s soft lips pressed, and fingertips dragged, against his belly. It was such a sweet gesture that Sid couldn’t hold in his smile. The movement in his belly told him the baby liked the attention as much as Sid did. Geno pulled away and went to sit at his usual spot at the counter to await breakfast, head into his arms like holding his head up was too much of a chore at eight in the morning.
If Sid thought he loved the man before, it was so much more apparent after.”

Summary
“ПРОСТИ,” the guys says back and Sid frowns because that’s not English or French. He squeezes Sid’s waist and makes sure he’s upright and standing on his own before he slips his arm free and steps further into the train.
“Hey,” Flower says lightly to the guy as he passes by him, “is it raining out there?”
The guy pauses and frowns then keeps moving, finding a seat a few rows up.
“Okay then,” Flower drawls then pats the empty seat beside him. “Come sit. You never sit.”

based on New Years three years ago when I told my (now) girlfriend that I was in love with her for the first time. For some reason I put G in my shoes even though I’m writing from Sid’s perspective. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Summary
It’s an honor just to be nominated, they tell him. To be named, recognized, at this level. You should be grateful.
Sid knows. He knows. And he is grateful. Humbled. Honored. He knows what this will mean for himself, for his family. So when they call his name, when they bring him up on the stage, when they offer him up as tribute, he climbs the steps and straightens his jacket and shakes everyone’s hand, ignoring the twist to his stomach.

Summary
Geno doesn’t feel the same way, and that’s okay. Sid doesn’t need him to, most of the time. He’s okay keeping his secret, holding it close to his heart. It’s only sometimes, when his house feels especially empty and cold, or his bed especially large, that he wishes—quietly, so quietly even he can barely hear it—that Geno liked men, that Geno liked him, that he had someone to hold. To hold him.

Jonny wants to make one thing clear: this was not like Twilight. He was not Edward Cullen. If anything, he was Bella, or maybe Rosalie, because Rosalie was kick ass.
What was he talking about? No. This was not like Twilight.

Summary
The house in Vegas has all of the sounds he's grown used to but none of the familiarity, and the house in Pittsburgh feels right but doesn’t sound that way anymore and Sid can’t help but feel like it’s never going to feel right.
This is their new reality, though, his family thousands of miles away, leaving Sid alone in the city he thought he’d made a home in.

Summary
“I just want to play hockey, Sid,” Flower says. “You should know how that feels better than anyone.”
Sid does probably knows how it feels better than anyone. He pushed every other dream aside because that one had grown so much, ballooned into something that took up every aspect of his life until there wasn’t room until anything left.
Sid still wants to play hockey, of course. He wants other things, too, though.
The decision has already been made. Flower doesn’t need Sid to make him feel worse about it. “I do,” he whispers, hoping that it comes across as the benediction it is.

Summary
Marc-Andre Fleury is a lot of things; husband, father, goalie, friend, but he never expected to be the person who sees two of his closest friends (and team mates for that matter) fall in love over and over again. It's difficult each time to adjust to how different and similar this world is from his own. Every time is a new adventure, but not every adventure comes out smooth sailing in the end. On this side or the other one.

Summary
Marc could be a real punk in return, but there was something adorable about it. It gave Patric the same sense of accomplishment he had initially received from presenting game pucks to him. Maybe that’s why the interactions became a part of their warmups.
Or maybe he just needed a routine.
Which was what he always tried to convince himself whenever he started pondering the tangled web of emotions that were beginning to take root in his subconscious.
