It's a story told in every home in the country by 2075. A story of the apocalypse, war, dystopia, rebellion, and freedom. A story of how a desert full of hatred and color overcame a powerful corporation, set on perfection, to form the peaceful society we have today.
This is: Danger Days, The True Lives of The Fabulous Killjoys

The year is 2021, two years after the deaths of the Killjoy gang known as the Fabulous Four.
Silent Storm, Sunset Flash, and Atomic Alien are still fighting against Better Living Industries and the sameness it pushes onto the citizens of Battery City. However, after two years of only minor rescue missions and dents in BLI's empire, the Killjoys are getting restless. Extremists begin to emerge and launch a new wave of rebellion founded on murder and shedding innocent blood.
The three of them struggle to keep up with everything that is happening, as well as trying to help out a new gang called the Ultra Vs, led by Val Velocity, who are gaining popularity.
Will they manage to keep everything together in the midst of this pandemonium?
Or will they crack under the pressure?

The year is 2079, and I can honestly say that the zones hold no more surprises. The draculoids move in a pattern, the motorbabies are all the same, and the radio station still pumps out the same slaughtermatic sounds that it did when I was growing up. Jet Star told me that Dr. Death Defying had ran the radio station for as long as he could remember, and when he returned to the Phoenix Witch, Show Pony and I ran it. That was after the Killjoys were exterminated by the dracs, naturally, and I had been on my own for a few years by then. Nineteen year old motorbabies don’t usually survive the zones alone, but I was never alone. I had Show Pony, I had the wind and the sand and the Joshua trees. You were never alone, if you really looked.

“The name’s Vaya. What do they call you?”
“I don’t got anybody to call me anything. I'm Vamos.”
“Vamos. Isn't that Spanish or somethin’?” Vaya leaned over Vamos to get a closer look at the cut on their shoulder. “Take off your jacket.”
“Fuck if I know,” Vamos groaned, shrugging off their leathers. “They didn't teach us that shit in school."

The origin of the killjoys. Gerard Way and his brother survived the bombings and was taken by Cherri Cola. The two were raised to be the fabulous, rebellious Killjoys. Party Poison is the flashy leader of the group, the Kobra Kid is the quiet and short tempered one, Fun Ghoul is the mischievous one, and Jet Star is the mother hen.
Things were normal until BL/Ind makes another move.
