Summary
Finding himself separated from his uncle after an attempt on his life, a newly banished Zuko washes up on the shores of Kyoshi Island.
In his efforts to reunite with the last living family member to ever show him kindness, he crosses paths with a badass Kyoshi Warrior, a certain blind earthbending genius, and is dragged into way more than he ever bargained for.
AKA, Zuko is thrown into the sea, makes friends with Suki and Toph, and joins the gaang early.
This fic contains descriptions and references to depression and other mental illnesses, please check notes for content warnings and read at your own discretion.
[This is the rewrite of the original story. Expect slow and inconsistent updates]

Summary
Follows Zuko's journey as he tries to integrate into to gaang starting with the Western Air Temple. Stayed very loyal to the show timeline with some obvious embellishments. This is a precursor to my later series with lots of relationship details that might be helpful for my later series when Zukka is full force!

Summary
After his duel, Zuko had fled to the Earth Kingdom where he has been living for the past 3 years, living as a farmer and a healer after being adopted by a nice Earth Kingdom family, presumed dead by the Fire Nation when disappearing while injured, giving Iroh a chance to keep Azula from staying loyal to her father. Given a chance to heal & find people who genuinely care about him with no ties or loyalty to his father, he is able to be saved from growing bitter and jaded after years of failing at a mission. Using his alias as The Blue Spirit as a healer who has learned to use firebending to heal as opposed to as a thief and assassin, he is able to influence views on firebending from both the Earth Kingdom and Water Tribes as wells as firebenders themselves. He comes across the Gaang in the harbor town he has been living in, connecting with them as a healer who still remembers how to fight from what his life used to be, joining their cause before they even reach the Northern Water Tribe.
This is a series, I have posted a summary at the end of the 1st part if you don't want to read Zuko's recovery arc. I would suggest reading it, but it isn't plot heavy and I'm not here to tell you how to live your life.

Summary
What if Zuko actually DID get himself adopted by a Nice Earth Kingdom Family?
And also everyone else he ever meets. Because lets be real, he is incredibly adoptable. Even if that means that by Fire Nation Law, the Fire Sages have to update the Royal Familytree every ten-or-so minutes.
At least succession s guaranteed now, right?In which everyone has a grand 'ol time except Ozai, who somehow lost his rightful place as Fire Lord to an Earth Kingdom peasant after banishing his useless son, and Jee, who has to deal with being adopted by a Great Spirit (and also the rest of the madness. his prince keeps getting adopted by people. this is a problem).

Summary
Katara joins her father's diplomatic coalition to the Fire Nation five years after a successful defeat of Firelord Ozai by Avatar Aang. Zuko is set to receive his full coronation in a few weeks time, but before the celebration can start, word is sent out to every corner of the globe: the avatar has been grievously wounded. What began as an emergency intervention has turned into a debacle only resolvable by none other than the heroes of the hundred year's war. But will their friendship be enough to sever ancient cords of hatred, or will their newfound world peace crumble before it's begun?
Are Love and friendship capable of overcoming everything, even death?
Takes place after the chronological events of the ATLA animated TV show & after events of the five-years immediately post-winning the war covered in "Letters Abroad". They can all be read as stand-alone works but my rec. reading-path is to start with Beneath the Palm-Willows, Ch. 1 -> First Intermission (Ch.9), then double back to Letters Abroad before continuing with BtPW at Ch. 10. If you want more exposition: BtPW Ch.1-9 -> Portraits of Ember Island -> Letters Abroad -> BtPw at Ch. 10. Thx Bon Appetite<3

Summary
Sokka jokingly took offence. "What? Were you not going to do that before?"
Zuko awkwardly laughed. "I mean I was but it was going to be a bargaining chip for keeping some of the older colonies."
Immediately the light and playfull air that had surrounded the camp disappeared and a tension pulled across everyone.
In the new quite Aang was the first to speak. "I thought you were giving it all back?" It wasn’t angry but there was a wariness to his tone.
Zuko took a measured breath. "I'll be returning everything except a small portion of land in the north-west."
Katara burst. "You can't just not give it back! Just because you conquered it doesn't mean you own it!"
Zuko rose from his position. "So when Chin the conqueror does it it's fine?! but when the fire nation takes back it's ancestral land it's a crime! Is that it?!" Zuko's voice ecoded around the clearing.
Immediately sokka shouted. "The hell does this have to do with Chin?!"
In a quieter but more confused tone he asked. "You don't know? It's literally the whole reason this war started."
Or just as the title says.

Summary
Before Sozin’s reign, people traveled everywhere. They adventured outside of their kingdoms. And, sometimes they fell in love.
Ursa was a descendant of Avatar Roku, but she was also an earth bender. Most of all, she was also lonely.
She remained lonely until Zuko was born on a cool evening around midnight.
Azula was born two years later, as the summer sun rose. She was a bit fussier, but still a beautiful baby girl.
Izumi was different.
~~~~~~~
Instead of being a Beifong, Toph was born in the Fire Nation as Izumi, the third child to Ozai and Ursa.This goes through the entire series, with this change.
