Love was like a drug,you begin to think “oh it can go wrong or it illegal” but then when you take into it you get a blissful high for a bit,thats till the after crash comes down and you realise how it can become a true blissful nightmare, it may work for some people but for others they continue to take the drug of love to just get them on that rollercoaster of a high for a certain time before it crashes down too a hault and then they are forced to get off and given the choice to go again and move on
He placed his hand onto the man’s cheek softly as he ran his thumb over the scar what had found itself placed onto his face making him even more recognisable amongst the normal faces you would see in a crowd

Well, it’s like a mountain you want to climb for some sort of reward. Fame, fortune, love, you name it.
The mountain keeps growing higher and higher into the clouds. Everyone wants to reach the top but it’s not going to be an easy hike. The road will wind and you'll lose friends along the way. Falling rocks are inevitable and wild animals are around every corner. Once you get to the top, oxygen gets sparse and the disorienting mist leaves people sightless.
Eventually, you're bound to fall. But once you fall, who’s going to be there to pick you back up?

Despite his limited vision Tommy was in awe, all he had seen of the planet he crashed the last ship into was some rocks and a handful of rubble, he had been more focused on getting onto the angel of death unseen and with minimal injuries. Dracaena was worlds away from Caryll, while Caryll had been mostly red rocks and desert plains, Dracaena was teeming with life. Everywhere Tommy looked there were people bustling about stopping at different stalls and babbling away mostly in common, but Tommy was certain there were people speaking other languages that he couldn’t recognise.

Summary
Ranboo is familiar with Earth only in a second-hand way, the way someone taking the time to passionately describe every little detail they can remember makes you feel. Because, despite being human, Ranboo himself has never set one foot on Earth in his entire life.
It doesn't bother him as much as the nagging feeling that someone out there is waiting for him to return home. He forgets where that is though. He doubts it's with Dream (even if the other humans seem nice), and he knows it's not with this runaway shapeshifter and his very alien crew, but maybe he can settle for something and it'll be enough.
Unfortunately, it's not that simple. Nothing ever is when you're a human in space.
