Summary
It had been a year of sailing, waiting and tail-trailing. For a year Stede had swallowed his frustrations, in favour of tucking it away in a drawer to be opened later. He’d turned the other cheek from Ed’s slew of misgivings so many times now, that he was running out of directions to turn away to. Yet for Ed, he was willing to turn away still no matter the mounting unease himself and the others felt with every nautical mile.
That was until they found Lucius. Or rather, what was left of him.

Summary
"You can't just leave every time there's a problem."
"And you can't hurt people every time you feel hurt. "
Both regretted the words as soon as they'd said them. The words stung, but the most hurtful thing about them was that they were unequivocally true, and neither one could refute that.
or: Picking up from the end of season 1, Ed and Stede reunite. Both need to make amends- and learn how to love each other again. -

Summary
Stede and Ed return to The Revenge, having talked through all their issues stuck in a jail cell, and Stede is particularly concerned about the survival of one thing in his cabin, and one thing only: the dysphoria-relieving clothing.

Summary
1718. Still the Golden Age of Piracy.
Now free from his old life, Stede Bonnet, aka the Gentleman Pirate, set course for his ship, his crew, and a life full of adventure alongside his newfound love, Edward Teach, aka Blackbeard.
Things did not go as planned...(Or my humble take on what could happen in season 2, directly following that heartbreaking finale.)

Summary
“Oh!” Stede straightened carefully, sensing an unlikely point of commonality with this man, fearsome façade of black leather notwithstanding, and managed to get to his feet. “Do you fancy a fine fabric, then?" he asked,
“I think maybe I do. Yeah.” Ed said it wonderingly, like it had never occurred to him before this moment. Perhaps it hadn’t.Series

Summary
There are many ghosts that haunt the Revenge. Some are less ghostly than others.
Lucius began to investigate what appeared to be pinholes of light in the wood. He put his eyes up to find he could see into the captain’s quarters from here.A chill ran down his spine when he saw it was Blackbeard curled up in the window seat, arms around his knees, ink-black tears streaking down his face. Part of Lucius wanted to reach out to comfort him. But a much larger part, tired and angry as it was, began boiling up from deep within his core.
“That’s what you deserve,” Lucius had growled, slamming his fist into the wall before he even realized he had done it.
Blackbeard’s eyes opened wide in surprise as he jumped up, looking around the empty room wildly. “What the fuck was that? Who’s there?”

Summary
In which the crew find a cat and decide to keep it secret for fear of Blackbeard's 'no pets' wrath. By sheer coincidence, Stede and Ed come across the same cat and decide to keep it secret for fear of Ed looking like a hypocrite. Two groups, two secrets, one cat, lots of sneaking around—surely nothing can go wrong!
Or: A cat joins the Revenge but its really just an excuse for me to explore everyone's characters and bully Izzy. Come along for the ride?

Summary
"A silence hung in the air and Stede felt quietly sick. He would never have imagined the Ed he knew doing something like that, recalling a tear-streaked face in his bathtub, devastated at the idea of killing anyone, even an abusive father. Word had spread fast. It was all anyone in the Republic could talk about, and with the English out for blood it made life more dangerous for every pirate on the sea.
If Stede had unwittingly hurt Ed so badly that he was driven to cold blooded murder…was some of that blood now on his hands?"
---
Wherein Stede goes to get his damned man back, Ed burns everything and Izzy begins to regret his decisions. Ed and Stede are more disastrous apart than they are sometimes together.

Summary
Ed swallows hard, meeting his stare. And then his features rearrange, casting his face in a severe, resolute light. Stede knows with that look–with the twitch of his fingers on his neck–that it’s over. He said what he came to say; now it’s up to Ed and whatever Ed has in mind, it’s what Stede deserves. He was warned after all, that night in the moonlit forest. He was warned that he ruins beautiful things. He ruined his family, his own life, and now this—now he’s ruined the most beautiful thing of all.
“It’s alright, love,” Stede tells him gently. “Do what you must.”

Summary
Stede Bonnet is a terrible pirate, and as luck would have it, he's not much better at being a boyfriend.

Summary
It's been almost a year since Stede Bonnet climbed aboard Ed's ship and brought him back from the brink of madness.
They both slowly filled their co-captains cabin with all sorts of soft things and colourful oddities they had plundered together. The place didn't quite look exactly the same as prior to their break up, but it didn't have to. It was a new chapter after all.
And then, one day, Ed felt comfortable enough to unlock one more piece of himself.

Summary
What he fixated on most, however, was Stede's lavender soap. It frothed nicely into a mound of bubbles with only minimal scrubbing and hit Ed's nose with the strong scent of Stede. No wonder the man always smelled so nice, if he used this soap every day. For a moment, Ed let himself just bask in it, not even putting the soap to any real use but instead only shifting the little handful of bubbles between his fingers.

Summary
Being on the Revenge was like being cocooned in Stede’s zealously theatrical yet heartfelt personality at all times – smothered in frills and truffles and tiny little pots of something called 'moisturiser' that Ed absolutely did not understand, but really did appear to do wonders for his perpetually wind chafed cheeks – and if it was like that, then being in the auxiliary wardrobe was like being in the absolute heart of him, cuddling up to the veins and vessels that made his blood pump around. Stede was still here, even when Ed was alone.
So if that was the case, that quiet voice deep in the depths of Ed wondered tentatively, what if – what if Stede found him here, all cozied up like this? What if Stede liked it, that Ed came here alone, and what if he – what if he decided to touch Ed, really touch him, right here amid the racks of finery?
---
In which Ed tries on some clothes, learns a few things about living in the lap of luxury, and makes fantasy into reality.

Summary
Two weeks, three days, ten hours. That was how long it had been since Stede had made the worst decision of his life, wandering back to the home he'd left behind instead of the one that was waiting for him. In his defense, he'd been in a good deal of shock at the time, but that hardly seemed like any sort of decent excuse. Especially not after his men had told him the state Ed had been in. Stede had broken his heart, no two ways about it. And maybe worse, considering that the entire crew minus Jim, Frenchie, and Lucius had been marooned on an island.
Since then, they'd been chasing The Revenge. Stede couldn't stop. He couldn't rest. Not until they caught up. Not until he made this horrible mess of his right.
